mp3 music recordings sound like you're hearing them thru a hollow tube

Power DVD 14 is what I had before. Worked great. Then something happened with my system and I had to wipe out everything and reload win10 and of course, the upgrade. Now, instead of beautiful symphonic tones, my recordings all sound like hollow crap thru a tin horn!! I upload all new updates; sounds the same. What am I missing, please? Help?

sorry, forgot to mention, I upgraded to Power DVD18.....and it still sounds terrible....

Do you apply any audio enhancement or effect in powerdvd's audio settings?
Try disable them first to check the playback.

Actually....I figured it out. It has something to do with my Bluetooth headphones and the audio controls on my pc. It's weird but that's what's causing it. Bottom line is, I can't use my BT headphones until I figure out what is making it act that way. Who knew..?
