Power DVD 17 and Chromecast Intermittent Connectivity

One of the main reasons I purchased Power DVD was because it can deliver video from a Desktop (Win7) to a Google Chromecast (wirelessly) to display on a large screen TV. Among many things I have found it can't do I have found it does not seem to reliably connect to a Chromecast device. Is there a "trick" that I am missing or is that how it is. VLC is now able to connect from the same desktop reliably wirelessly to Chromecast to display video, and has become my go to program.

Hello,

Have you updated PowerDVD to the latest version? There have been bug fixes in the past for stuff similar to this I believe.
