Still can't apply transitions directly between clips.

I dont know what I'm doing wrong and I'm not crazy. When I drag a transition it either goes to the end of the previous clip or the beginning of the next. There is no gap between the clips I just can't do it. I've seen others do it but I can't. My transitions are set to 0.15 seconds could that be the reason?

Try stretching out your timeline so you have more control.
Are you sure it's .15 seconds? I cannot seem get to that time-length in my UI, however all time-lengths work properly here. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

Thanks for the reply. In my settings the transitions are set to .5 but as you can see it says 15 and I cant put the transition in between. The two tree images are set to 1.0

It looks like 15 frames to me. You appear to be using a 25fps timeline so that would be 15/25ths of a second. Blink and you'll miss it smile

its set to 30. I figured it out, the transitions were set to overlap I changed it to cross and now Im able to put them between the clips.
