Screen recorder: stop / pause function keys don't work

Because the function keys are not working, i have to capture myself bringing up the app and stopping it from there.
Not a nice ending for my videos.
I do NOT want to have to go thru Power Director to trim the video.

PLease, does anyone know of a solution to this? How to get the function keys to work?
Otherwise, no problems; screen recorder is a GREAT tool.

Hello,

First off, are you using the version of Screen Recorder that came in PowerDirector? Or did you buy the stand alone version, i.e. Screen Recorder 3?

FYI, for me, I have no problems using the hotkeys to start and stop the recording. It is possible that another open program on your computer is conflicting with Screen Recorder hotkeys. Have you tried changing the hotkeys in settings?

If you don't have version 3, then ensure Enable hotkeys is selected in settings?
