PD8 Green Tick Issue Again

Seems like this needs to be resolved on every release! In PD8, v1930, I noticed if one:
1) drags all the CL sample clips to the timeline
2) select say the train.jpg in the timeline and "Edit Image"
3) set "Auto Brightness" exit and save
4) train.jpg is still in timeline, media library has lost green tick?
5) two train.jpg are in the media library, neither one has a green tick. One is the modified pic in your working directory, the other is CL sample from SampleClips.

Five items with green ticks in the library, 6 items in the time line. Looks like the green tick issue has surfaced again.

Jeff -

My observation of this issue (in PD7) is that it occurs inconsistently. At times, the green ticks accurately indicate what's in the timeline. At others, they show only some of the clips/images.

I know that's of no help - just an observation.

Cheers - Tony

Hi Jeff,
I've reported "green tick" issues and these are all under investigation by R&D, along with a number of other matters.

However I haven't noticed the jpg "green tick" issue,

I'll copy and paste the data to R&D with the url to your post.

Dafydd

Image file and green check/tick mark issue has been localised by R&D.

Jeff, Dafydd -

I have a few different projects happening containing various combinations of images, clips, PIP insertions, music & sound effects. Since first reading your post, Jeff, I've taken notice of the green ticks and whether they're applied accurately after I re-open a saved project.

So far - it's been a few days & the projects have been opened and closed quite a few trimes - the green ticks are all where they should be.

On another note - this is serious - has anyone seen my Fade transition? It's about the only one I use and it's gone AWOL!!!

Cheers - Tony

The green tick disappears on a placed image when there are a large number of files in the media library.

Lost Fade: I surmise that Anthony has run off with it!

All teasing to one side.

Watch out when you resize the media library - yeah, also resizing the preview display as well because this'll shift the position of the various selections including transitions.

When you expect it to be at so and so, you may find it 3 places to the right.

Should be in alphabetical order.... "F" for FFFF... ade
