can any help me understand

Production wizard create a file.AVI
windows AVI Mpeg 1 or Mpeg 2
DV_AVI production profile setting
AVI type TYPE 1 TYPE 11
type 1 (DV Specified) fine format type 11 traditional
my ? is which type do i go for
i produce AVI files so as to use with other programs what is the diffrence


at the same time can anyone help
with change Alias and reset alias ? what are alias

Hi Geoffrey -

PD gives you many options when you create a file - because there are so many different applications people use.

Did you notice that, with each option you select, there's a description of the properties of that file in the little box?
