No "7 speaker" in Speaker Enviroment with PowerDVD 8 Ultra and latest patches

Since the second-to-last patch the option "7 speaker" is missing from the drop-down menu in Speaker Enviroment. All others are there. I even tried the Demo of PowerDVD 9 and had the same problem. So, the rear speaker of my 6.1 sound system stays silent, when playing movies with DD-EX or DTS-ES. Anybody suffering from the same problem? Or can you all select "7 speaker"?
