Capture via Logitech USB webcam
[Post New]
Logitech Messanger USB webcam with built-in mic.
Is this supported by PD7?
The video capture source sets itself to PC camera after detection but no video when I try to capture.
TIA Dats my Bongo...

Hi,
Just have a look at this:

Directors Chair>edit>preferences>capture>Use video overlay

I can't remember whether it needs to be checked or unchecked but it does affect the way capture works.

Cheers

Thanks

I unchecked "edit>preferences>capture>Use video overlay"

The USB video is now captured. Dats my Bongo...

Bongo & the other guy on the bike -

Every day I learn something new - and every other day I forget stuff I thought I'd learnt!

What I've done is record the webcam session, then import the clip into PD from Documents > Videos > Logitech Webcam. That did what I needed, so I didn't even explore Adrian's suggestion. I will now.

Cheers -

Tony
