Please help i am desperate.
I have a laptop hp dv3560 that does not have spdif optical output. So i bought an usb sound card behringer uca202 with optical spdif output. I can hear from my receiver pcm stereo sound but no matter what settings i do with ac3filter or powerdvd 9 i cannot get digital 5.1 sound. Only i am getting an annoying noise from my receiver.
Is capable this sound card to deliver 5.1? What settings i have to do?

What up, so what ac3filter are you using? You may just need to make sure the software that came with the soundcard is setup for spif output. Also, your cable could be bad. I use MPC for my movies whenever Power DVD don't do right. See if it works for ya. MPC HomeCinema version. If it allows you to receive Dolby Digital then you know it's PowerDvd that's not allowing it. Hope something helps.
