Panasonic tz7 AVCHD lite and SVRT 3

I have a Panasonic TZ7 which makes movies in AVCHD lite which is 720p. I would like to produce these movies using SVRT if possible as my TV plays avchd from a sdhc card.

If I use a custom avc mpeg 4 profile that "roughly" matches the audio and video bit rates it allows me to select the SVRT function for production.

The SVRT 3 window appears but the rendering seems to be no faster than without SVRT. Also the produced video is 25 fps when the source is 50 fps which leads me think that SVRT is probably only working for the audio?

Does any one have experience with SVRT and the Panasonic TZ7? Is there a way to set the output frame rates in custom avc mpeg 4 profiles? Is it necessary to set additional parameters in the custom avc profiles to better match the source video in order to make this work?

Thanks,
William

I did some further reading and found a similar thread at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/430927

...................Try the last version of Sony Vegas 9, it works wonderfully with Panasonic 720/50p (Panasonic codec seems to come from Sony...) You can even render the file in 720/25p or even 720/50p (by typing 50 in the combo box) Use File Advanced New personalized Template, Format:AVC, Size 1280x720
Binary Kbits Base Line
Profil CAVLS
Imlmage 25 or 50(type it)
Encoding 20000
Audio 192000
And you get an mp4 file with the same characteristics that your original and the same quality.................

Is it possible to set a parameter ImImage or something like it in PD7 custom AVC mpeg 4 properties?
