Advise upgrade frpm PDVD7 to PDVD9?

Hello.

My wife uses PDVD7 on her PC. I'm wondering if she would get any benefit from upgrading to PDVD9.

Hardware:
CPU: dual Pentium4/2.4GHz
RAM: 3GB of DDR1
GPU: NVidia 7600GS (256MB RAM)
Optical: DVD-RW, no plans for Blu-Ray

She's currently running WinXP/SP3, but will go to Win7 when it's released.

Reading the Cyberlink promotional materials, it seems that they are focused on Blu-Ray-related capabilities.

Given the older hardware listed above, what benefits (relative to PDVD7) would be seen with PDVD9?

If she's watching standard DVD's on her computer with 2 or 3 computer speakers, then there is no reason to upgrade.

The big new features are things like BluRay playback and HDMI audio.
