cell use in slideshow

HI all,

Is there anyway you can use the cell method in a slideshow without actually using the slideshow method. I have tried a few times to use the slideshow but it goes too fast, whether I use the fit to music or fit to photos. Can you obtain a template to use just the cell method.

cheers, deb from OZ

Debra,

Common speed issue has been raised several times but CL has not made any improvements that I'm aware of. Actually, one had better control in PD6 as you could adjust the duration. What I'd suggest is to produce your slideshow piece without audio and then bring back into PD7 so you can adjust the speed of it, and then add your audio.

Debra & Jeff -

That seems to be the only way I can get around it too. I never got to use PD6, Jeff, so I didn't really miss it... but it has occured to me that THAT would be a good feature. I wonder why it disappeared? Maybe it will return in PD8.

Debra - I don't know of any way of making a cell slideshow without the template, except by using loads and loads of overlaid PIPs... that could work, but it would be time consuming. Doable though.

Cheers -

Debra -

With your produced video highlighted n the timeline (click on it), look at the buttons immediately above... Split - Trim - MultiTrim - Speed - etc

Click on speed and adjust with the slider.

Note: If your timeline contains your set of images, these buttons won't appear. You must first produce the slide show (click Produce at the top) into a video format, then bring the video into the timeline.

There's a tutorial video at http://docs.cyberlink.com/event/PDR-gallery/play.jsp?nFileId=1337
