I normally use Adobe Premiere Elements 2018, but am trying PD because of the audio syncing capabilities.

When I load video (.mp4 or .mov) the video is jerky and fluttering. I thought maybe it would be OK after producing, but it is the same. I don't have the problem with Premiere Elements.

What can I do to correct this in PD?

Update: I turned off hardware acceleration and now it works as it should

If it's the same after production, try disabling Hardware Acceleration. in Preferences. If that doesn't help let us know. Panny TM10, GH2, GH4,
