PowerDirector 12 - Media Source Error (Error Code 3)

Trying to produce a completed video when at 47% completed the Media Source Error code 3 stops the process. On the media source error window it shows the error type to be "audio cut"? The material type was "audio". The window further implies that the project may not fully comply with the file format standard or system may lack the required decoding components for this file, etc. Use another media format (which didn't work either).

Windows 10 all drivers are either good or updated. Different PD formats were used which was to no avail.

It should be noted that prior to using PowerDirector I purchased Movavi video program. Here again the same problem occurred. I thought the problem was with Movavi at first. Early on Movavi attempted to help with the problem which was to no avail. Finally they requested my complete project to ascertain the problem. Unfortunately I never heard back from them.

Any help would be appreciated.

This forum is specific to PD16.
Your case seems to be missing some video or audio encoder / decoder.
I use K-Lite_Codec_Pack, installed it adds many encoder / decoder that might solve your problem.

In addition to reinstalling new drivers or revert to old drivers that you know worked perfect.
Try to disable, hardware acceleration in the settings.
