Hi all. I am new to this forum. I have been enjoying using the PowerDirector 16 to make some fun videos. I wanted to make an effect like fast rewind (like the old vcr). I noticed that it says cannot adjust speed in reverse clip. Is there any way to work around this?
Apprecaite your helpful advice.
Cheers,
Sanj.

A workaround:

1. Cut the scene that you want to "rewind". "Copy and paste the scene to the end of the "forward" scene.("paste, insert and move all clips")
2. Reverse the scene.
3. Produce the range of the just reverted scene. It is automatically added to the media library.
4. Drag it to the exact position of the reversed scene. It fits exactly. Choose "overwrite"
5 The reversed scene is a normal video now and the speed can be changed.

Good luck!

I tested a little. Forget my workaround. It works, but easier: do as PlaySound said:
Change video speed first, then reverse the video. Thats all.
