HI
Newbie here
Added a title to the first section of my video
My first question is can I cahnge that black background color. I can see how to change the font but not the background

My 2nd question is I would like to add a banner durring the video displaying my website. Can I do that?

Thanks!

The black background color is not black, its transparent.
So drag the title to the highest track, don't drag it on a video clip.
So if you have a videoclip on track 1, then drag the title on track 2.
You will see the text on top of your video. If you want to have a solid background, choose "color boards" from the drop down menu in media room.

Can you put a banner to your video? Of course, make a picture of your banner, and save it as PNG with a transparent background (you have to choose a transparent color). You can drag the PNG just like the title to a track.

Hello & welcome to the forum smile.

The black background to titles that you see when you view them in the title room will not be visible once you have dropped the title onto your timeline. If you actually want a visible background then probably the easiest way is to insert one in the first video timeline and set it to last for the duration of the title. You can do it in the title desginer but I think it's easier like this.

You can certainly add you web URL (as a title) but what you cannot do is have a clickable link in a video. For that you have to use HTML or perhaps YouTube which has the facility to add links as a video overlay.

Thanks, I appreciate the help but can't get it to day that.
The black background on my tittle definetly shows when I play the clip back
If I add a color board in track one when I try to drop a title on it the colorboard gets pushed or switched.
When I choose cross fade it webt from black to the blue I selected than back to black again
Are you sure you can do this?
Videos I've seen aren't very helpful but can you point me towards any?

Then another question
Can a 2nd text box be added to the tittle?

As I told you. Do NOT drag and drop the title to the track with the color board.
Do:

Drag/drop a color board on track 1.
Drag drop a title to tack 2.
That will do the trick!

Here is an effect that you might find useful in displaying your website in a banner.

Regards,

Jim
