Graphics card Driver Incompatible

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum and have just recently purchased PowerDVD 17. Unfortunatley, it has told me straight away that my graphics card driver is incompatible. I downloaded the Blu-Ray adviser with the following results:

Minimum Requirements:

Windows 7 or above - Pass
4GB System memory - Pass
AVC/MPEG-2/VC-1 Codec (GPU) - NOT AVAILABLE
HDCP (GPU/Display) - NOT AVAILABLE
Blu-ray Optical Disc Drive - Pass
Windows Media Player 9 or Above - Pass

So I'm taking this to mean my graphics card isn't good enough and needs upgrading and my monitor (currently using TV) isn't good enough for Blu-ray playback? I have a Dell Optiplex 755, any help with how to go about upgrading and fixing this issue?

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.

We can't say for sure that your GPU is not compatible, it could be a driver that needs updating.

Please generate your DXDiag file, and then attach it in your reply.

You can see here for info on how to generate: https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/63543.page#post_box_289538
