God tier PC and my 1st generation PS4 plays movies better!

I don't understand why my ps4 plays blu rays better than my pc. My pc has a geforce gtx 1080ti, i7-5960x, lg blu ray player and powerdvd 17. First off, at the bluray menu theres always a green line in the middle of the screeen. ALWAYS! The worst part tho, ALL movies have a lag every 5 seconds. I just dont understand why. My ps4 plays so smooth, no lag, no flickering. My pc plays like crap.

I'm so disappointed in paying money for this. THinking an upgrade from powerdvd 16 to powerdvd 17 would fix the issue but no. Nothing.....

Any ideas what it could be? Please help PowerDvd 17

Well, the answer is - your PC actually is crap.
Do not blame PDVD. From what you wrote, there is something wrong on HW level. It may be dying (or at least corrupted) GPU, but there are lots of other possibilities. I assume your VGA driver is updated. What you should try first is to borrow another GPU from a friend and put it in your PC. This may help to determine what to do next.

PowerDVD plays any discs and disc menus flawlessly on my CRT, FullHD, and 4k monitors and 10 graphics cards for more than 10 years.

PC is perfect, need to change setting both in Intel & Nvidia, keep twiching & comparison while playing movies / 3d, trust me, i had same issue.

tolk me 6 months to perfect my 3d, it`s superb amazing playing with graphic settings.

+ don`t forget to update graphics via website, a clean install recommended.
