Cannot Edit Certain Clips

I have a question that is bugging me to no end. I'm working on a project that has video clips, graphics and photos in the same timeline. On three video clips in particular, when I click on them to highlight them or put the CTI over the clip, neither of the three clips will show any of the edit options ( such as Designer, Fix/Enhance, Tools, Slideshow, Key Frame, etc.).

My question is why will the edit options show up on 90% of the clips, graphics and photos and not on these three?

Feedback would be greatly appreciated. TeeMan

I found the answer to this problem. It appears that the raw video clip was MPEG2 (.mpg). When I edited the clip, I must have saved it as H.264 AVC (MP4). I put the two clips side by side on the same timeline and one worked (the mpeg2) and one did not (the H.264 AVC).

Barry, you are right. Your statement about both formats should work gave me an idea. I opened a new project and imported both the H.264 and the MPG clip into PD16 and all of the edit buttons were there. Wherever I moved the CTI, everything worked fine. Maybe there was a glitch in the project timeline. Each file by the way is 186 MB. Can files that size be uploaded?

Thanks for your help.
