Capture VHS home videos - Copyright Error

Hello,

I am capturing our old family vhs home videos using PowerDirector 15. I am receiving 'copyright errors' during the capturing. This ocurs when the VHS tape has jumps in the V-Hold of the recording. This was due to the old video camcorder. When the camera is shaking (movement from the cameraperson).

For some reason the capture on the Powerdirector 15 thinks this is a Copyright issue. When it's just a bad section of the video.

I would like to disable this and allow for me to capture the entire lenght of my home videos without interuption due to a false copyright reading.

I am not getting a response for my inquiry with Cyberlink, it seems to be ignored (poor customer service). Hopefully someone in the community can answer? Thanks in advance.

yours is an old story. it isn't a poor customer service rather a legal issue.
PC work around and or an answer is to use Windows Movie Maker, WinDV and or VirtualDub to capture it then edit using the PD15.
also you may acquire a VHS to DvD dubbing combo VCRs. after the capture then use PD15 to edit.
i've used Panasonic DMR-E85H, not pictured, and backed up ALL my Beta, Super Beta, VHS, S-VHS, 8mm, Hi8, Di8 etc decades ago.

happy happy joy joy
