MPEg 4 output for Nokia N71
[Post New]
Hi all,

have exported some video in mpeg 4 format (had to pick the ipod video or psp preset) and the video playback is very shacky and stuttery on my phone. Exports on Video Studio to mpeg 4 playc back perfectly on my phone. Is there anywhere that I can customize my mpeg 4 codec settings before exporting? Windows XP SP3, Q6600, 2GB, 8800GT 512MB
Windows Vista x86, Pentium D, 4GB, 7600GT

Seeing as I am getting no reply here, can anyone just comment if it is possible to do customer mpeg 4 movies and not to use the standard presets that are available. Windows XP SP3, Q6600, 2GB, 8800GT 512MB

Hi rUx,

Don't think this is available. If I convert files for phone or other applications, I use a third party converter like Super© where I can control more variables.

Cheers

you can use the mpeg4 file export option to the right of PSP/Ipod output.

there you can make a custom profile where you can set resolution, codec options etc etc.

the ipod/psp option has no customisable profiles, thats why you get max.size for each application.

what resolution .MP4 can your Nokia play fluidly?
