Hi

I just purchased the upgrade from Power Director 13 to 16 and downloaded all of the components

I recently built a brand new computer that does not have PD 13 installed on it.

Can I install PD 16 without PD 13 present on my computer ?

Thanks

Rob

No. You may want to try a few things. Present a dvd containing the install files for PD13 if it asks for the location or enter the serial for PD13 if it asks, etc. Let us know if you can do it without contacting Cyberlink services.

For upgrade versions, you need the previous version present. You can install PD 13 first, unless PD13 is also a upgrade version.

Some upgrade versions will ask for the previous version CD Key.

I had 13 installed, and UG'd to 16 Ultimete.

It found my reg. number and it went smoothly, leaving 13 intact. .
