"Produce" file Question about Profiles and Quality
[Post New]
I have PowerDirector 7 (not the HD version)

I looking to improve the quality of my movies. I am not sure which format to choose - there is no documentation. AVI? MPEG2? 4-AVC?

It looks like the options in the profile (in Produce) offer me some clues.
Is it possible to increase the quality to 1080i? What happens if you play on a SD TV? What's the highest resolution (the specific choice) for SD TV playback?

Hi,

See these tutorials for more detailed information on producing files:

See this tutorial for details on creating 1080i videos in the produce part:

If your project has a 16:9 aspect ratio, you can output it in full HD.

FYI, I prefer using the WMV 9 HD High Quality profile. It creates a pretty good looking video in my opinion and will be in HD on YouTube.

Let's hope user share their opinions as well.
Regards,
David
