cutting vs. speed change

Hi all.

It happens once a while, that PD raises the play speed of a clip instead of cutting it when I pick the clip at the end with the left mouse button and drag it to the left. This also happened with older versions. If I have this behaviour, I always have to restart PD to reset it.

Is there any way to toggle this or is this just a bug ?
