I am at wits end to find music to go along with my photo slideshow.

The vacation was in California...we did three days in Disney, the LA Zoo, Hollywood and the Beach as well as a tour of the Queen Mary and the Aquarium of the Pacific.

Two young children and two adults.

So far I have

U2 - Beautiful Day
Jack Johnson - Upside Down
Coldplay - Viva la Vida

Any suggestions would be appriciated.

Hi Darin -
Without knowing what you have in your collection, it's a bit tricky...

It sounds like you're after something upbeat/happy. A couple of suggestions off the top of my head would be...

Holiday (Green Day)
Holiday (Madonna)
Good Vibrations/California Girls (Beach Boys)
Born to be Wild (Steppenwolf)
We Gotta Get Outa This Place (The Animals)
The Final Countdown (Europe)
I Got You - I Feel Good (James Brown)
Celebration (Kool and the Gang)

If you are into mixing your own soundtrack to capture particular moods, there's a site I use which has a great range of short tracks in every style/feel you could think of. It doesn't have commercial music - like the ones above - but it's easy to search for what you're after & download it (free).

Thanks Tony!

That site was exactly what I was looking for. I was actually thinking of using the Disney Electrical Parade music for some of the Disney clips and something a little softer for when the kids met the Princesses.

Don't forget Holiday Road from National Lampoon's Vacation.
It's a personal favorite of mine.
