PowerDVD 17 and PowerDVD 16 difference other than TrueTheater HDR

I have 2 monitors (non-HDR 4k monitor and HDR 4k TV) and both are connected via HDMI 2.0 cables from GeForce GTX 1060. If I play a video with PowerDVD 17, both of my monitors get black screen and I have to unplug-plug the monitor to get the control.

Once I uncheck 'TrueTheater HDR' option in 'Advanced Enhancement' setting, it can play vide files.

(1) If one of my monitor is non-HDR, do I have to give up the HDR feature in PowerDVD 17 ?

(2) If so, is there any other merit(s) of PowerDVD 17 over PowerDVD 16 ?

I purchased PowerDVD 17 because I have HDR 4k TV connected to my PC, but if I have to disable 'TrueTheather HDR' and there is no other difference over PowerDVD 16, I want to return PowerDVD 17.

Thank you for your help.

Thanks a lot for your reply. You mean that if one of monitors is not HDR compatible, all monitors will be black screen ? That's pretty bad. In that case, I'd like to know the answer for my 2nd question. Other than HDR, is there any advantage to use PowerDVD 17 over PowerDVD 16 regarding the video quality ?

Thanks,

I found the version compare site and I assume that features with 'New' label will be the new in PowerDVD17. I hope PowerDVD17 works well on multi-monitor environment. For now, I will try to return it.
