Maybe no one cares. surprised

This is at least your second post on this subject. In that first one, I initially could not see the issue. Later, I did but it didn't bother me because I was looking at the video being displayed.

What did Cyberlink Tech support tell you?

By the way, I can confirm that it happens on my computer also.

Hi,

Cyberlink told me:

--------------------------------------

Under current program design, PowerDVD does NOT alternate Windows operating system's Windows style setting, but just using PowerDVD custom style setting in PowerDVD main program Window.PowerDVD does NOT deliver such commands to alternate the shadow effect for other programs' windows or the whole Windows style in system.By further checking with engineer team, PowerDVD cannot reversely modify or control the shadow effect turning off condition, which is NOT made by PowerDVD, but the operating system (Windows) alternated it for all other programs at the moment when PowerDVD main program window was launching.

----------------------------------------

Here is a better explanation.

Take a look at the screenshoot.PowerDVD is unchecking that box every time I open it. It shouldn't do that.
