Has anyone else had a problem with the "TV Safe Zone" function not working. I checked "Preference\Display\TV Safe Zone." and the box is checked. When I go to the Preview Window to check to see if it is active, the "TV Safe Zone" is grayed out. I've changed the different display options and that does not fix the problem.

Any thoughts?

Do you have any media in the timelines? TV safe zone, as with other functions, does not activate unless there is media in the timelines. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

Canon Vixia HV30/HF-M40/HF-M41/HF-G20/Olympus E-PL5.

TV safe zone does not activate in Movie mode, it only works in clip mode. And only on one selected clip or image at a time.

Barry and Carl:

This project already has about 45 minutes of assets (video, photos, mp3's, etc.)

After getting your responses, I launched a new project and TV Safe Zone worked find in the new project. Thus I'm thinking that something must be corrupt in the project. It's no big deal as everything (the assets) seems to be within the TV Zone Boundaries. What caused me to notice this in the first place was after burning a reference DVD just to check out quality, a couple of my titles used were off the screen. I went back into the title room and reduced those titles. I'll keep playing around to see where the corruption is at.

Thanks,
