Reference: http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/51168.page .

Page 33 in the PD11 UG indicates that the timeline ruler is in minutes, seconds, frames for PD11. The user in the above post claimed that his timeline ruler can indicates 1/100 of a second not frames.

I see no difference in the way it is documented in PD14 or earlier versions of PD. It would be interesting if anyone else can move audio 1/100 sec. instead of 1/10 of a frame in another version of PD.

Said user I think is confusing frames with seconds, and confused that PD12-PD15 added 10 audio frames per video frame. It was clearly discussed and shown here at the time. http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/30864.page#post_box_169355 And yes I checked, my PD11 will only move audio at a frame level. User would have to attached some definitive pictures before I’m a believer.

Thank you Jeff for confirming this information about the timeline ruler frames. I did not want to install the 2 year old amd video drivers in order to open PD11 to check if the timeline was indeed in 1/100 sec. increments. The PD11 UG and your PD11 check is well appreciated.

I did check PD9. Audio can only be moved at the frame level like what you found in PD11.

There is nothing I know of that sets the timecode indicator to seconds as was alluded to with "00:05:04:01 can be moved to, or dragged to 05:04:02" with the reference to seconds in that thread, the :01 is frames not 1/100 sec. Yes, one can change the seek by to be seconds, but timecode is always frames at the end.

Unknown to user, they actually have more control vs PD11 to position audio as you indicated in that thread, 1/10 frame vs 1 frame.
