Hi,
I am sometimes editing TV shows recorded on my DVD recorder's hard disc and it happens that some shows broadcasted in 16:9, once imported in PowerDirector 7 are actually smaller than the full screen real estate.
I was wondering if there is a way to remove the top/bottom and left-right blacks bars with any filter or command?

Thanks for any help.
Steve

Right click on your video in the Master Video Track and select "Aspect Ratio". You'll have several selections to choose from.

Great,
I actually used a croped image to fit 16:9 and it worked.

Thanks a lot.
Didn't notice all those right-click options in the video track.

Happy New Year to you. __________________
