Burning multiple discs
[Post New]
Can someone please advise me the best way to burn multiple discs in 2D?

At present I go to Create Disc and burn the disc which means it goes through a long authoring process before the actual fairly short burning process.

If I want to make several more DVD's it has to repeat the authoring process all over again. Is there a way to avoid this repeat process 10 times if making 10 discs?

Thanks. Phil

If you enter the number of copies in burn to disc area it will only author once and burn many.

You can always "Save as a disc image" or "Create a folder" and then use your favorite burn utility, like ImgBurn or similar to burn as many copies as you like.

Just don't select both "Burn to disc" and "Save as disc image" as then a reauthor will take place. That bug highlighted here: http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/135/45634.page#post_box_248322 And no, something as simple to fix as this was not patched in PD14 nor corrected in PD15 or even patched in PD15.

Thanks Jeff!

However,.....after stting it to 4 copies and burning the first disc and then putting in the next disc and clicking burn again it still does the authoring process again and still shows 4 copies to be burnt.

But the next time it worked ok with just burning and no authoring.
