HI

I would like to enjoy surround sound from DTS-HD MA / DOLBY TRUE HD when staying in hotels.

If i buy a pair of gaming oriented headphones like the logitech G633, can i decode the HD Bluray Tracks tracks into LPCM 5.1/7.1 and send those over the USB dongle.

Those headphones are labeled as : 7.1 Dolby® or DTS Headphone:X Surround Sound and i don't get if this works only by enhencing stereo input or if i can send the decoded 7.1 LPCM to it.

Best Regards

If your USB headphone can decode Dolby/DTS audio, perhaps you can give it a shot.

I have no idea if the label Logitch marked is telling us the headphone supports the Dolby/DTS decodng or not.
To get the fact, you may need to ask Logitech.

Per my personal experience, "over USB dongle" may fail the full set 5.1/7.1 audio LPCM output when playing protected BD movie. It has chance to let PowerDVD downmix to stereo.
