Have been thinking about upgrading, but was wondering if PD15 has any newer options in output profiles. For example, does producing MP4 output support 5.1 yet? Is there any control over VBR vs CBR? Intel i7 4770k, 16GB, GTX1060 3GB, Two 240GB SSD, 4TB HD, Sony HDR-TD20V 3D camcorder, Sony SLT-A65VK for still images, Windows 10 Pro, 64bit

To my knowledge, MP4 does not currently support 5.1 so PD surely can't do it. Do you have some 5.1 MP4's? If you can, switch to mkv or another supporting container if you want 5.1, which PD supports too, even PD13.

No control of that in the GUI for H.264. No new formats, several removed formats and profiles. Was told this was done to clean up the user interface.

Thanks... I'll have to see if my sister's TV can read MKV, but then she hasn't really complained. ;

I just noticed that PD13 produced files seem to always be VBR and a few were even VFR. Intel i7 4770k, 16GB, GTX1060 3GB, Two 240GB SSD, 4TB HD, Sony HDR-TD20V 3D camcorder, Sony SLT-A65VK for still images, Windows 10 Pro, 64bit
