I have Powerdirector 14 Ultimate on one computer and I need to move it to another computer. How do I move the licence? I cannot find any way to deactivate it.

Thanks, Conor

Just remove PD 14 from the old computer, then use the install files or DVD to install PD14 on the new computer. There is no deactivate, except removing the program.

Edit: When I say Remove, that means to uninstall the program. Which removes the program from the computer.

"Remove" = uninstall (not delete). Regards,

I've uninstalled from my old computer. I now get a message on the new one telling me that my trial has expired, and it only allows me to go to a purchase screen.

Any help would be appreciated

No expert on this account but I think the 'trial version' of PD is not able to be transferred to a different computer (just thought I had heard this in the past).

I certainly could be wrong so see what the others have to say.

I have a full version on my old laptop. I bought a new one, and downloaded the trial, just thought I could enter the old registration.

You must use the original Downloaded install files to install Powerdirector 14 on another computer. Trials cannot be upgraded, it will expire after 30 days and be unuseable.

If you have the Box version, use the CD to install on the new computer.

If you do not have the original installl files, you may be able to contact Cyberlink's support with proof of purchase and get links to download again.

If you do got downloads, be sure to burn to a DVD with the Product key. or store on external hard drive. Carl312: Windows 10 64-bit 8 GB RAM,AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz,ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB,240GB SSD,two 1TB HDs.

Thank you. Don't have a boxed version, but I do have the proof of purchase, just a bit annoyed that I deleted from the old computer
