My older PowerDVD version stopped supporting viewing Blu-ray discs and was blaming my graphics card for the issue. Not being able to resolve this in any other way, and thinking the company was just using this as a way to phase out their older editions of PowerDVD, I took advantage of the recent Labor Day sale and updated my PowerDVD version to v16, and installed the newest patch right after. $40+ and many unwholesome thoughts later, this issue is still not resolved, and my frustration is peaking. My graphics card is less than a year old and completely up-to-date - it cannot be updated any more than it already has been. My guess is that Cyberlink hasn't refreshed their own compatibility records with this newest version of the AMD Catalyst driver software. Is there any way this can be resolved through an update at any time soon? If not, I may need to ask for a refund. I attached the Save Log of the Blu-Ray compatibility check in this message.
Thanks for your time.
