Okay, So i recently had restart my computer's hard drive because of a virus i had gotten. (Even in the command prompt, using "systeminfo", It says it was first opened when i reset it, which is wrong). Anyways, I had cyberlink on this computer before, but since that version of my OS is now gone from the hard drive, i need to reinstall it. So i did.... but when i openned it up to put in my CD-Key for Power Director, it said to put in a valid number. I've done it countless times in different ways, without caps, with caps, shift, shift at certain times, but its never right. This code is what is written onto the disk so theres no reason it shouldnt work. And since my regeistration key was on my last computer hard drive, It's not in regedit.exe either. So what do i do? do you guys need to see the code? I have no idea.
Is the Powerdirector 13 a Upgrade version?
Is is an OEM version? I.E. installed on the original computer OS.
If an upgrade you need the previous Powerdirector CD key. Or the previous PD installed on the computer. If a OEM version, it may be dependent on the OS.
Just guessing.
