Hi, I am new to PD, it's been alright for me so far..

I was wondering if there's a simple way for me to make my source clips work with SVRT without having to render them at a higher bitrate first.

My source clips are: mp4 1280x720 58.82 fps, 4,643K bitrate. SVRT workload is always 0%, I have tried to render them at 15 Mbps and it worked with SVRT.

I have read the requirements for clips to work SVRT, but I still have no clue how to make videos fit around it.

I don't know what other information to give, please let me know if you need any other info.

Thanks.

Hi:

Do you press the Intelligent SVRT button in the Produce window at all? Its dialog box that pops up suggests the options that are available on carrying it an analysis. Clicking the Apply button therein is all you need to do but also all you can do: probably not all formats can be renderred using SVRT while the possibility also depends on what effects you may have applied. I suppose that SVRT basically just copies the sections of the original footage that have not been modified as long as the input format corresponds to the output format thus avoiding to actually render them.

Optionally, you can right click in an empty part of the track in the Edit window and check the Show SVRT Track option (at the top of the menu). This is also accessible from within the above mentioned Intelligent SVRT dialog box using the Details (Edit) button…

58.82 fps??? And the project target is... probably 59.94fps?

That's the problem...
