G'day and thank you in advance for any help. I have just purchased the Samsung Galazy s7 and have downloaded Version 4.24 SR number PHA160816-01 (deluxe) A couple of day ago, this animated icon appeared on the upper right hand side of Photo Director and the hands go up and down. When I tried to tap it, music notes, mini hearts and stars start falling down the screen like snow for about a minute and then it must reset.
1) Can someone please help me identify what this is
2) Can someone please advise what I can do to remove?
I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled the app and the symbol continues to appear.

Hello Joanne T,

Welcome to the PhotoDirector forum laughing

Even though your screenshot isn't very clear, that icon obviously shouldn't be appearing like that. I'm only able to check on an iPhone here, which does not exhibit anything like that. Everything functions as expected.

As far as I'm aware, there are NO such animations in PhotoDirector Mobile!

Does this occur ONLY when you open PhotoDirector Mobile? After the animation completes its little routine, does PhD function normally or does it still have problems?

G'day and thank you PIX for your time and reply; both are GREATLY appreciated.
Friends were able to reduplicate the animated Pokemon looking waving icon and apparently it is suggested it is linked to the app in some way (through an ad) and only goes away when one pays for the no ad version. After it completes the snowing of symbol, the animated icon always appears at the upper right hand side. So at least I now know what it is and that my phone has not been hacked. Thank you!

Hello Joanne,

The only thing I can think of, by way of explanation, is that the Android version of PhD Mobile has some extra features not included in the Apple version. Possibly the "ads" you mention are somehow linked to one of those features. (???)

I'll consult with people at CL. My understanding is that it's a free app.

G'day and big thanks...Your explanation would make sense...

Enjoy!

When one downloads the free app from the Google Play Store, it says "has ads"; so technically is is a free app (so to speak)
