Kite surfing.wmv file not loading in PD14

So i started up power director 14 and created a project and the sample images loaded but the sample wmv did not. It said it was not the right format or may be a broken file. So I openned it in a couple different video apps and it plays just fine. Why wont it import into PD14?

Do you have Windows Media Player installed? .
