Any tips for turning day shots to night shots?

I searched the forums, but couldn't find anything specific for turning day shot videos into videos that look like they were shot at night. I'm using PowerDirector 9.

Try this: Highlight the clip on the timeline. Click Fix/Enhance /Color Adjustment and move the slider to the left to darken the clip.

Or perhaps an overlaid colorboard at a very low opacity ( if that's possible in PD9 ?? ).

Longedge - That looks like an excellent choice for the OP who is using PD9 to use the color board. The Opacity slider adjustment is in the motion tab of the PIP designer.

It works very well and is convincing. laughing
