My operating system is a dell 15 7559 laptop with i7 processor, 256 ggb ssd hard drive, 16 gb ram, Nvidea gtx 960m graphics card.

When I import a photograph into PhD7, add a layer and start using the brush etc to wipe the unwanted areas of the top layer, my computer crashes. Any ideas ?

Quote sorry, this should be in another forum. Its photodirector 7, not colour director.

Take a look at the READ ME guide and attach the results of the DxDiag results so we can see the technical details of your computer.

Also, please post the exact level and version number of PhD. For example, I have PhD Ultra 7.0.6803.0
