Is there ANY way to change the speed of scrolling text, ASIDE from stretching the text file over the top of the next text file (in other words making it longer in terms of length of time). I would like some scrolling text which at the moment disappears off the top of the screen to finish at the exact same time frame but be at the bottom of the screen. So in effect slowing the scrolling speed down... any suggestions? If I do the above method (stretching) it interferes with the next slide and text in the story...

Hi Brian -

There are only limited possibilities for setting the speed of vertically scrolling text:

  1. change duration - longer = slower - shorter = faster scrolling

  2. less lines of text at same duration = slower

  3. more lines of text at same duration = faster

This tutorial doesn't exactly answer your question, but it deals with the timing issue...

Cheers - Tony
