PD Live Application Manager fail

My AppMan is unable to update itself. It keeps asking me, upon opening that there is a new version of itself.

It appears to download and unzip, and asks if I want to remove the previous installation, I do, and it never fully updates.

I close it, open it, repeat, repeat, repeat. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)
Nvidia GTX 960(4GB)/16GB DDR3/
Canon Vixia HV30/HF-M40/HF-M41/HF-G20/Olympus E-PL5.

F.W.I.W. I find Piriform's CCleaner resolves problems like this very well (with the registry cleaning tool). I run it once in a while anyway when I notice my system is starting to slow down.
