Stripping audio to use elsewhere

I'd like to strip the sound from one audio clip, so I can apply its sound to a different audio clip? Is this possible in PowerDirector 5, and if so, how do I do it?

At present, the only I can think of doing it is to find a different software package (like what?) that will somehow strip the sound and save it as a sound file (e.g., .mp3) and then reimport that into PD5 and replace appropriately in my sound timeline. Is there an easier way, to do it all in PD5?

Hi there,

I'm not sure there is. It's actually something I've really wanted as well... it would be nice to be able to separate the sound from a video.

I had to use AV Music Morpher Gold. It worked fairly well for me.
