I just noticed something with my titles in PD14; the PiPs are no longer videos but a still from the various video clips. I first noticed it in my custom menus, but then when I used any of the included stock menu templates, the same thing happens — a still and not the normal 5 second video. I have tried creating new menus and checked my settings. Nothing seems to correct this problem.

Has anyone else had this problem? Will I have to re-install PD14, and if so, will there be a problem with projects that I have created with the "broken PD14"?

More than likely you disabled motion thumbnails, see pic.

Just looked at that image, could easily happen by accidental mouse-click to untick the "Enable Motion Thumbnail" checkbox.
