On 3/6/16 I purchased Power Director 14 from Amazon. When it came time to install the "Essentials Content Pack" the files were corrupt. So either Amazon are sending out corrupt files or Cyberlink is sending out corrupt files. I contacted support and within the hour I got an e-mail back asking for a picture of the error and strangely enough a proof of purchase picture (anti-piracy thing I have no clue). Absolutely amazing. It's the tech support FTP directory URL complete with customer case's with dump logs, images of their desktops, their cd-keys, and even software of other Cyberlink software. But wait it gets better! If you click on "CS001556431" then you will find inside of that directory, from what I assume, the entire film of Star Wars: A New Hope! Yep that's right, they are using the server as their own personal Dropbox. I respond back with "I'm not waiting 10 hours to download the files from your internal FTP server. I can't even believe you linked me to that and gave me the login for it".

It's been 2 days since I responded back and I just want what I paid for and I hope I never have to deal with Cyberlink support ever again.

Yep, ever since buying PD14 I have had nothing but problems. I also contacted tech support and they gave me an automated answer much like yours. It is absolutely pathetic, and I will never buy another cyberlink product.

Asgard. To be fair I waited 5 hours and eventually downloaded the Content Pack and it works.
