Application Manager Hangs Installing Update

I know others have had similar problems, but I didn't find any good resolution.

I fired up PD14 and was notified that there was an update available. Application Manager agreed, but when I let it try to install the update it stalled on the "installing" phase. I let it sit there overnight, then I killed it.

I went back in and noticed that the path (under the "gear" menu) was set to x86. I changed that to the 64-bit program path, but that didn't make a difference.

According to the PD About screen, I'm running 2527; that seems to be the latest version.

So, did the programs lie about there being an update? or did it install, but not finish cleanly? Jerry Schwartz

The about screen should tell you if you are running the 64 bit version.
