Hi, So, if I go into title room and choose "lower third" category for instance,

the yellow "bar" does not seem to be adjustable. I can move the words I am typing on it,

but then they will be placed OFF of the special title bar for which they are supposed to appear.

This is a sad deal because the default placement of the bar is not centered vertically or horizontally in the right place.

Any ideas for a workaround? Thanks.

Hi Angela -

The only workaround is quite a tedious one, if you want to keep the animated title bar.

That's the issue. Those animation files are built into the template. To shift the animation up/down/left/right, each of the 200+ animation files needs to be edited separately. It's possible, but very time consuming.

If you're happy to let go of the animation, your options are much simpler.

If you look on DirectorZone & do a search for "basic lower third" you should find the dozens I've uploaded - either as titles or PiP Objects.

Cheers - Tony

He means that there is a website that allows users of PD to upload transitions and PIP objects and title bars it looks like. When you start up PD ....look up in the right top corner... should say something like 'Sign in to DirectorZone'.

It does in PD13 at least. If it's not located where I say - google it 'DirectorZone' and you should be able to find it on the web. Might have to register - rather ... 'create an account' - to be able to log in and then search for the item Tony is talking about.
