Hi I have just realised that I can import files direct from Windows Explorer by dragging them into the library or to the timeline rather than using the tiny import button! This means I can browse for files in Windows Explorer - play them there until I am sure I have the correct one and then simply drop it into PD14. I did this by accident today; hence my eureka moment. Sorry if this is obvious to everyone else, I am just posting incase it helps anyone else. That wee import button drives me crazy.

Hi collie581,
I have used CyberLink's MediaShow as the intermedia softare, allowing me to navigate through all my video clips, play them in MS and then draging the selected video for my project into PDR. We all have differing techniques and adapting each to our own fast edit video is fun.
