I am new to PowerDirector. Watch several videos and search thru the forums and could not find any post that had reference to this situation. I have imported a Power Point presentation as .jpg files and I have .mp3 file for the Powerpoint presentation. I am trying to line up the audio to each side. I have place the .jpg's on the time line and the .mp3 file is on the time line also. The length of the .mp3 file for the first slide is 6:22 sec's. Can't figure out how to associate that time to the 1st .jpg. I guess my question is how do I associate the audio and the 1st side to that time?

Thanks

Terry

You cannot associate in the definition that the clips and audio are coupled and will float together. What you simply need to do is adjust the duration of the first jpg to match your desired 6:22 duration. Simply right click on the clip "Set Clip Attributes" > "Set Duration...". The other option is to drag the right edge of the jpg clip with the left mouse button in the timeline, when you release mouse button, you will have a few options on what to do.

Keep in mind, timecode is hr:min:sec:frames

Thanks Jeff for the quick reply. I was able to set the duration for the .jpg images. Now when I start from the beginning it stops at the end of the first slide, it only will play one slide. if I click on the next slide it starts and goes to the end of that duration. How do I get it to go automatically to the next slide?

Thanks
Terry

Highlight the clip on the timeline. Look below the Preview screen and see that the Clip button is selected. Click on Movie button and then play and all the clips should play to the very end.
